I thought I'd say 'Hi' to everyone at IBC. It's been a long time since I've sat in those pews, but I'm glad to see that the church is still doing well and that there are some familiar faces.

I spent many happy years in Aberdeen as a student of divinity. During a time of vacancy for IBC, I was thrilled to have been invited to preach in this beautiful church. I am glad to see the fellowship growing from strength to strength. May God bless you in this precious ministry.

It's amazing what and who you find when the notion takes you. Glad to see my old Poly friend Mr Hayes has risen to become a Pastor, we always guessed he would. I know where I'll be heading on Sunday next time a Scottish Liberal Democrat conference is held in the Granite City

I really enjoy your website and it is very encouraging to hear that you are willing to be servants of God and invest in the kingdom of God. I am here in Atlanta and I lived in Aberdeen for a short while and was not able to visit your church, sadly at the time I didn't know where it was. Thanks for being an encouragement. I hope to back in Aberdeen and visit your church.

Greetings,
I used to be a member of IBC in the early eighties and often remember the warm fellowship experienced there. May God bless the ministry of IBC and all it's members. By God's grace I am walking on the narrow road leading to eternal life. Warm regards, especially to Bill Slack from Hans

I loved your website. I am in my last year of Bible College in Sydney and I just wanted to say how encouraging it is to know that there are churches that are passionate about the Gospel and God's Word being taught faithfully. Please pray for me as I search and pray regarding serving in Scotland in 2004.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to visit IBC on the 27th April. I would very much like to thankyou for the warmth and friendliness that we both found there. My daughter had the courage to go into Junior Church by herself. I have not known her to do this in a new place.
Particular thanks to Maureen and Howard who made us feel welcome. Please extend my gratitude to your guest preacher Peter Grovers. His sermon about 'David: Making room for God' was exceptional.

May God bless you all in all that you do

I have visited with the membership at IBC on two occasions, both as part of mission trips to Scotland. My first visit was in 1999 as part of the team from the University of Mobile, the second leading an independent team.

God began to change my heart and ready me for life as a missionary upon my first visit to Scotland. It is a beautiful country with a friendly people.

I am praying that God will use IBC mightily to reach the people of Scotland. Revive Scotland, oh Lord!!

Members when it was in the primary school.
We were the first to be married in the church and memories thinking what a beautiful building and seeing the beauty of what people that love the Lord brought together.

We attended IBC from the late 80's until 1995. We really enjoyed it, and it was a great place for our kids Jennifer (19) and Jonathan (15) to begin their walk with Christ. We are looking forward to the reunion in Houston.

Steve and I served at IBC as Journeymen (Youth and Music) from 1980-82. It was a life changing experience for us both. We are who we are because of the lessons we learned, the expreinces we had, and the people who influenced us. We thank God for our time there.

We are now living in central Illinois where Steve opened an office for Turner Construction in 2001 and is building with the University of Illinois and various other schools. We have four daughters (Margaret - 17, Rachel - 14, Rebekah - 12, Catherine - 9) who are all believers. What a joy.

Steve and I have both been back for brief visits. Steve was there in 1997 and Fran in June 2002. Both times we ended up being able to bring Margaret. Her sisters all want turns too! It was wonderful to see the facilities and worship with the body of believers who the Lord has brought together there now.

We look forward to the reunion in Houston and seeing former members and meeting those who came before or after us.

Thank you for doing this site.
